M-ERA.NET  Conference  “Advanced Materials & Battery Technologies for a Sustainable Future"     1-2 April 2025 | Dresden, Germany
M-ERA.NET Call 2021 success stories: enabling innovation through collaborative projects
The M-ERA.NET conference 1-2 April in Dresden, Germany was a big success.

Some highlights:

  • 150 participants from all around the world
  • 40 project presentations by successful coordinators and 41 posters
  • plenary talks by national and regional policy makers, the European Commission, and relevant European initiatives on advanced materials
  • interesting discussions and planning of follow-up collaboration
  • networking and socialising

Bringing together experts in advanced materials, sustainable energy technologies and life sciences with funders in order to strengthen partnerships and develop new future activities – this aim could fully been achieved.

It was amazing to listen on how the funded projects of the co-funded Call 2021 succeeded in realising the project objectives and contributed to technological and societal challenges.

The conference was opened with welcome notes of Saxon state secretary Heike Grassmann (SMWK), Stefan Jung as representative of BMBF and Jean-Philippe Guisset, head of sector for advanced materials of HaDEA.
