M-ERA.NET Working Group Meeting
The M-ERA.NET Consortium met on 17 September 2024 in Paris, hosted by Agence Nationale de la Recherche ANR. Highlights of the meeting include the preparation of the next Call 2025 as well as a guest presentation made by Materials4Energy (M4E) Innovation Community.
M-ERA.NET started preparing the next Call 2025. In the meeting the Consortium discussed future call topics and thematically relevant aspects such as materials modelling, simulation and digitalisation in materials research.
The M-ERA.NET Consortium invited a guest speaker from the Materials4 Energy (M4E) Innovation Community, which has the objective to accelerate energy materials innovation through Materials Acceleration Platforms (MAPs). The insights of M4E provided relevant input for the network, since materials for energy is one of the main thematic priorities of M-ERA.NET.
M-ERA.NET aims at the following impacts:
- strengthen the European RTD community
- upgrade the technological capabilities of industrial sectors
- enable a substantial contribution towards European technology leadership
- consolidate strategic programming of joint activities
- reinforce the dialogue with relevant stakeholders
- mobilise a critical mass of national and regional funding for transnational RTD cooperation in materials research
