For Saxon enterprises including SMEs only project parts with “industrial research” or “experimental development” above TRL 4 are eligible for funding.

Major eligibility criteria (e.g. types of organisations, thematic restriction, cost types and caps)

No thematic restrictions; Saxony will support projects within the entire scientific scope outlined in the Call Announcement.

Only Saxon enterprises are eligible, participation of at least one Saxon SME required.

Saxon parts of the project has to be finished until July 2028

Submission of the proposal at national/regional level (schedule, cut-off dates, deadlines, etc.)

No regional schedules, cut-off dates or deadlines

Only in the case of a positive funding recommendation of the full proposal, Saxon applicants will be asked to submit a regional application according to the related Saxon guideline FRL EFRE/JTF Technologieförderung 2021 bis 2027.

Submission of financial and scientific reports at the national/regional level

Financial and scientific reports are to be submitted after the funding decision according to the obligations of the regional “Zuwendungsbescheid”
