A unique chance to pitch your project ideas, join R&D consortiua and meet new partners. The event has a special focus on batteries.

Wallonie-Bruxelles International, the MecaTech cluster, the ministère wallon de la Recherche and the F.R.S.-FNRS, in collaboration with PRIMA Quebec, the ministère de l’Économie et de l’Innovation and the Bavarian Research Alliance have the pleasure of inviting you to a virtual networking activity dedicated to the M ERA NET 2021 call for proposals. The topic of this call targets a fundamental industrial issue for Europe and Quebec: materials for futur batteries (to support the development of a circular economy and the achievement of sustainable development goals).

The activity was scheduled on April 28 at 9:00 a.m. (Quebec) / 3:00 p.m. (Brussels) / 4:00 p.m. (Helsinki). Industrial players and research stakeholders from four regions of the world: Wallonia, Quebec, Bavaria and Nordic countries will participate to meet new partners and join world-class R&D consortia.

Because of time constraints, the emphasis will be on pitching project ideas to accelerate the development of battery materials/technologies, as well as on networking. Each partner region will be able to present 4 project ideas.

Program overview

The activity is divided into 2 large blocks: (1) Pitch and (2) networking

(1) PITCH session: 16 pitch x 4 minutes. Panelists/speakers from each region will present their project ideas.

(2) NETWORKING session: Online networking will take place in brake out rooms divided by sub-topics (to be determined).

A kiosk, set up by the national agencies, will also be available for participants to answer questions on funding rules.
