Partner 35: (RU: Russian Federation) FASIE … Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises

The Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises (FASIE) is a non-commercial state
organization (with a legal status set by the Statute as a “Federal Government Budgetary Institution”) set up by Russian government resolution No. 65 of February 3, 1994. The main objectives of FASIE are the following:
To implement government policy for the development and support of small innovative enterprises;
To offer direct financial, informational and other support to small innovative enterprises,
implementation of projects to develop and produce new high-tech products;
To establish and to develop infrastructure for small innovative enterprises (technology transfer
networks, science parks, etc)
FASIE is an initiator and participant in the development of laws and legislative acts providing state and social support for small business.
Since 1994, more than 35,000 applications for funding have been submitted. FASIE provided financial
support for over 12000 projects.
FASIE implements a variety of programs directed at involving youth in innovative activity, support of
small enterprises at an early stage of the development (pre-seed and seed financing), realization of
programs of Government of the Russian Federation and integration of the Russian companies on the
foreign market. FASIE has representation offices in 65 regions of Russia.
FASIE closely cooperates with foreign partners, including OSEO (France), CRDF (US), BMBF (Germany), TEKES (Finland), EUREKA and others. FASIE is participating in ERA-NET Scheme since 2011.
